A trial license gives you access to a full instance of Bitbucket Data Center for 30 days. At the end of the trial period your Bitbucket Data Center site will become read-only and you’ll have the option to buy a full license to continue using it, so you won’t lose any of your projects or data.
We support single-node Bitbucket Data Center both for trial and full license instances, so you don’t have to modify your current number of application nodes if you don’t want to scale up to a cluster yet.
To create a Bitbucket Data Center trial license:
- Head to my.atlassian.com and log in with your Atlassian ID.
- From the list of Atlassian products, select Bitbucket, then select the Data Center option and fill out the form with your organization’s information.
- Select Generate license.
If you're ready to scale up your instance, check out how to upgrade from Bitbucket Server to Bitbucket Data Center.
If you’re a new customer, the next step is to download and set up your new Bitbucket Data Center trial instance.
