Project permissions in Bitbucket Data Center and Server allow you to manage access to repositories within a project in an aggregated way.

To modify permissions for a project

  1. Go to Settings > Project permissions for the project.
  2. Select Add user or group and search for, and add either single or multiple users or groups.
  3. Choose a permission from the menu, and then select Add.

Once added, you can use the checkboxes and then use the Remove button to remove users in bulk or select More actions ... > Edit to edit permissions for a particular Bitbucket user or group.

There are four levels of project permissions you can grant to a user or group for a project: Admin, Write, Create repository and Read.
