Symptoms

After creating a application link in Bitbucket Server to JIRA or any other application, the red banner containing the string error is shown but nothing is shown in the logs.

Cause

Previous versions of Bitbucket Server and JIRA prevented application links from working on secure ports other than the standard 443: BSERV-3777 - Getting issue details... STATUS  and  JRA-34550 - Getting issue details... STATUS

Resolution

These bugs have been fixed. Consult the issues above to find out more information on the fixed versions and upgrade your Bitbucket Server and JIRA applications appropriately.
