Profile visibility options for managed/unmanaged Atlassian Cloud Accounts
Summary
Your Atlassian Cloud profile shows information like your email address, avatar, role, and time zone.
When an Atlassian account gets created, some of this information is visible to everyone and some are restricted by default.
Managed account visibility options
The Default Profile visibility options for Managed accounts are:
Profile Photo | Anyone |

Job Title | Anyone |
Department | Restricted to Organization |
Organization | Restricted to Organization |
Based in (Location) | Restricted to Organization |
Local Time | Restricted to Organization |
Email Address | Restricted to Organization |
Restricted to Organization essentially means that the information will only be visible to users who are part of the same Atlassian Organization as the user in question.
Managed Accounts can change the visibility of the above attributes. The following visibility options are available to them:
- Anyone
- Organisation
However, the attributes Email Address and Profile Photo have a few more visibility options:
Email Address:
- Anyone
- Organisation
- Only you and Admins
Profile Photo:
- Anyone
- Organisation
- Only you
Unmanaged account visibility options

- Based in - Options available are Anyone and Only you
- Local time - Options available are Anyone and Only you
