Symptoms

Attempting to move pages via Tools >> Move results in no action; all other functions seem to work normally.

Cause

Layout changes from previous versions refer to older Velocity code and will need to be updated for 3.1. This is commonly reported with pages using a navigation sidebar.

Resolution

For pages using the navigation sidebar, use an updated layout.

For more intricate layout changes,

1. Edit the Velocity files directly: Customising Layouts.
2. Post your current layout on Atlassian Answers or contact one of the Atlassian technology partners for a customised solution.
