Problem
After editing Confluence Colour theme via "Colour Scheme" from:
- Confluence Administration > Look and Feel > Colour Scheme
Works fine when signed into the administration panel, however all/some other pages will go back to the default blue setting.
Diagnosis
Diagnostic Steps
- Go to one of the space where the newly set Colour Scheme is not implemented
- Go to Space Tools > Look and Feel > Colour Scheme
- Is it set as "Global Colour Scheme" ?
- If yes, proceed to Resolution
Cause
The newly set Colour Scheme does not applied to certain pages because the space where the page is from has a custom Colour Scheme configured already, thus overriding the one set in Global Colour Scheme
Resolution
- Go to Space Tools
- Click Look and Feel
- Go to the tab Colour Scheme
- Select the _Global Colour Scheme_ for the Global Colour Scheme to take impact. See screenshot below
