Symptoms

Microsoft Excel reports the error message:

Error! Filename not specified when trying to save a file back to Confluence after it's been opened by office connector.

Cause

See WBDV-52. Windows can only handle webdav strings of a certain length due to a limitation in the NTFS filesystem.

Workaround

Make the path shorter by moving the attachments further up the space hiearachy.
