Solution

To embed a Google Drive video on a Confluence Cloud page we need to install the official add-on Google Drive for Confluence (Official) - Legacy Editor Only, supported by Atlassian.

There are two different ways to embed the video on the page (while on edit mode):

1. We can paste the video link into a Confluence page. The link would be automatically converted to the desired macro and the video will be embedded.
2. We can type /google and select the Google Docs macro from the macro creation dialog, paste the video link into the Google Docs URL, and click on the Insert button.
