Summary

Once your Confluence license is about to expire, a banner will be displayed at the top with the message "Your License is about to expire in X days". This banner is only visible to administrators. Under certain circumstances, such as migration, clicking on "remind me later" or "never remind me again" might not be enough. In case you need a more permanent solution, you can disable the plugin responsible for this banner.

Environment

Confluence Server and Data Center.

Solution

To disable the license expiration notification, we should disable the license banner plugin in:

  1. Confluence Administrator > Manage apps
  2. Select System from the filter list.
  3. Enter Confluence License Banner in the text field.
  4. Open Confluence License Banner and click Disable.
