Purpose
For bulk migrating data from a third-party knowledge base into Confluence as plain text, HTML, or Confluence Storage format. Aside from the no longer supported, Universal Wiki Converter, Confluence does not include tools for importing data from specific third-party wikis.
Solution
- If you're able to export your current wiki as plain text, HTML, or in Confluence Storage Format, you can bulk import it by following our Import a text file function.
- You can organize your exported pages into specific directories that will map to your various Confluence spaces. This can be performed on a space by space basis
- You'll need to manually upload the associated attachments to the page, and may need to edit the page to point to the newly uploaded attachments
