Summary

Sometimes a user tries to import a Word document and receives the following error:

"Could not import document. The document contains an image size of <image_size x <image_size>, which exceeds the maximum size of <image_size x <image_size>. Reduce the size of the image or contact your administrator to raise the size limit"

Solution

Raise the size limit as follows:

  1. Go to Confluence Admin>Office Connector
  2. Type the new image size into the fields under Importing from Word
  3. Click Submit at the bottom of the page to save the changes
