"SyntaxError: missing ; before statement" error in Firebug while trying to List Application Links (Loading list of Application Links runs forever)
Problem
Attempting to list Application Links in Confluence Admin >> Application Links results in the list loading forever:
The following appears in Firebug:
SyntaxError: missing ; before statement
applicationName = "sadd24АО "443ом"";
batch.js (line 36, col 50)
Cause
The Confluence Site Title contains quotes in it, example: sadd24АО "443ом"
Resolution
- Navigate to
Confluence Admin >> General Configuration - Edit and remove the quotes in the Site Title, example: sadd24АО 443ом
