Symptoms

When public signup is enabled, the page renders incompletely, failing to render the fields required to add information.

Cause

The External User Management is turned OFF.

Workaround

Enable External User Management.

You need to have System Administrator permissions in order to perform this function.

To activate an external user management system,

1. Error rendering macro 'excerpt-include'

   No link could be created for 'Navigating to the Administration Console'.

2. Select 'General Configuration' in the left-hand panel.
3. In the 'General Configuration' screen, click 'Edit'.
4. Select 'On' beside 'External User Management'.
5. Click 'Save'.
