Unable to highlight text in issue search navigator

Problem

You are unable to highlight text on in the search results of the Issue Navigator.

For example, when you go to Issues > Search for Issues you are not able to highlight the text in the Summary column of the search results:

Diagnosis

Environment

  • JIRA 6.4 or later

Diagnostic Steps

  • Unable to highlight any text from the Issue Navigator search results

Cause

This is caused by a bug in CRM for JIRA. The bug is tracked as part of SUP-17060

This problem is related to a third party plugin, and therefore not supported by Atlassian. See Atlassian Supported Plugins for more information.

Workaround

  1. Go to JIRA Administration > Add-ons > Manage Add-ons
  2. Disable the CRM for JIRA plugin
