Using the scope view
This page discusses the usage of Portfolio for Jira live plans (any version from 2.0 to 2.27). If you're using the redesigned planning interface, see this page instead.
The search and filtering controls in the plan view allow you to quickly narrow the plan content and timeline to selected items, releases, and teams.
Filter name | Description |
---|---|
Epic | Allows you to change the hierarchy level shown in the scope. |
Project | Filter by projects that work items originated from. |
Releases | Filter by the releases that work items were assigned to. |
Teams | Filter by the teams that work items were assigned to. |
Contains text | Filter by work item title text. Parents of matched items will also be displayed. |
Status | Filter by Jira issue status. Open issues can be displayed, or both open and closed issues.
|
Completion date | When it's not set, it will show all completed issues from the last 30 days.
|
Schedule range |
|
Themes | Filter the timeline by theme. |
For the projects, releases and date range, the filter considers values chosen by the user as well as values calculated by the algorithm.
Example:
If you manually assign issue 01 to Team A and the algorithm automatically assigned issue 02 to Team A; filtering by Team A would return both issue 01 and issue 02.
