Fisheye 4.9 release notes
Connect to Fisheye with application tunnels
We've added support for application tunnels. This lets you connect from your Atlassian Cloud organization to Fisheye without having to open your network for any incoming connections. Using application tunnels is similar to using application links, but they introduce a new and more secure type: tunneled app link. Learn more about app tunnels
Support for Mercurial 6.0
We've added support for Mercurial 6.0.
Small improvements to make your day
Here are some smaller improvements from this release.
OpenSearchAPI
OpenSearchAPI allows you to run a quick search in your Fisheye instance directly from the browser address or search bar. Just register it as your new search engine, and pick it for your query:
You can also enter your Fisheye server URL in the address bar, press the <tab>
key, and specify a query:
It can search for projects, repositories, users, committers, commit messages, review comments, file paths, file diffs, and content. It's not only a free text search, you can also use camel case (e.g. "DReviewMan" for "DefaultUserManager") or hints (e.g. "file:pom.xml"). See Learn more about searching Fisheye for more details.
A custom banner
As an admin, you can now set a custom announcement banner displayed on the top of all pages for users. For details, see Administration > Global settings > Custom banner.
