Summary
Assets maintain all copies of the indexes up to date automatically. The synchronization process aims for eventual consistency and is asynchronous, implying that there may be a delay before the index changes reflect on other nodes in the cluster.
Each AQL operation is executed against indexes, all of which are loaded into memory.
The purpose of this page is to provide a list of possible exceptions that may arise when running an Assets reindex. Assets reindex error diagnosis are displayed on the Assets Indexing UI.
Assets will perform detailed analysis of the failed objects and attempt to explain exactly why the object failed to be indexed.
Environment
- JSM Data Center 10.1 and any higher version
Detailed error diagnosis
There are two main types of errors displayed on the Assets Indexing UI. Please refer to the following articles based on the specific exception encountered.
- At least one of Key, Label, Created or Updated attributes must be indexed for object type in Jira Data Center
- Unable to find attributes associated to the object - object may need to be deleted in Jira Data Center
