Symptoms

After setting up GitHub OAuth settings in the DVCS Connector and connecting the repository, the DVCS connector authenticates from GitHub and after Clicking on Allow it redirects to JIRA home page and the repository is not connected.

Cause

This is usually caused by entering the wrong Call Back URL in GitHub Account, or by simply putting http instead of *https*

Resolution

By just ensuring to put the correct enteries in the GitHub account, to make sure it redirects to the correct instance URL with the secure connection "*https*".
