Symptoms

There are errors in JIRA indicating failed calls to the Fisheye server due to permissions.

Diagnosis

Fisheye is on a version lower than 2.9.

Cause

Any project links that are configured will be queried individually and that would produce these error messages in case the user does not have the proper permissions in Fisheye.

Resolution

• Upgrade Fisheye to 2.9 or later.

  If you're using Fisheye 2.9 or newer and a recent JIRA Fisheye plugin, this message shouldn't be shown anymore because the way JIRA will only make a single query for any visible changesets.
