How to add attachment in Jira Service Management portal request

Purpose

As Jira Service Management customer, you want to add an attachment to an existing request via the customer portal. This page will guide you on how to achieve that.

Environment

Jira Service Management Cloud

Solution

You can add attachment(s) to an existing request through the portal by following the below steps:

  1. Click on the Requests button on the top right corner, next to the display picture
  2. Select the required option ( Created by me / All )
  3. Select the ticket to which you want to add the attachment
  4. Click on the comment field
  5. You can either Drag and Drop the attachment files or, click on the Files & images icon and select the attachment file(s)
  6. Click on the Save button
