Summary

Context behind this article

As mentioned in the Jira Service Management (JSM) 4.15.x release notes, the Assets app (formerly known as Insight) is bundled with JSM. This means that, whenever JSM is installed with any version from 4.15.0, the app Assets/Insight will be automatically installed as well.

As a result:

  • for JSM versions from 4.15.0 to 5.2.x, an Insight menu will appear in the top bar menu
  • for JSM versions from 5.3.0, an Assets menu will appear in the top bar menu
