Symptoms

After upgrading JIRA Agile, there is no active sprint in any board.

Cause

The cache directory is being out-of-sync after the upgrade.

Resolution

Please follow the steps below to re-build the cache directory
  1. Shutdown JIRA.
  2. Take a backup from the $JIRA-HOME/caches/indexes directory.
  3. Remove the $JIRA-HOME/caches/indexes directory.
  4. Restart JIRA.
  5. Perform a full re-index.
