How to install a specific version of the Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant

Learn how to install a specific version of the Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant (CCMA).

Solution

  1. Uninstall the current version of Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant.
  2. Navigate to ${CONFLUENCE_URL}/admin/darkfeatures.action
  3. Add the following dark feature:

    migration-assistant.disable.app-outdated-check
  4. Download the Jar file for the version you want to install by browsing CCMA Version History
  5. Navigate to General Configuration > Manage apps.
  6. Choose Upload app.
  7. Locate the file then click Upload.
  8. Wait for it to finish installing, and that's it.
