Summary

Unable to create issue for the Jira project due to workflow properties.

Cause

If the workflow property specified below is configured for one of the workflow statuses, the user will not be permitted to create an issue, even if they possess the necessary create issue permissions to do so.

Property key - Jira.permission.create.denied
Property value - denied

Solution

Kindly follow the below steps to remove the workflow property.

1. Open the Project and navigate to Project Settings.

2. Click on Workflows and select Edit Workflow.

3. Identify the status and delete the workflow property (Jira.permission.create.denied).

4. Publish the workflow and attempt to create the issue again.
