Environment

Jira Software on Data Center with Scriptrunner for Jira up to version 8.41.0 or earlier.

Diagnosis

The issue arises from the use of the third-party plugin, Scriptrunner for Jira up to version 8.41.0 or earlier and specifically when using the Behaviours feature.

Cause

The error is due to a known bug in the Behaviours feature of ScriptRunner, identified as SRJIRA-7810: Using Behaviour setFieldOptions() throws error when in Kanban Board. 

Solution

To resolve this issue, upgrade ScriptRunner for Jira to version 8.42.0, where the bug has been addressed. Additionally, it is advisable to perform a re-index of your Jira instance after completing the update to ensure all changes are properly applied.
