ProForma works with Jira Service Management's automation engine in Cloud and Server/Data Center to let you automatically add forms to issues.

Create a Jira Service Management Automation Rule (Server / Data Center)

ProForma forms are available as an action within the Jira Service Management Automation rules.

To create a Jira Service Management automation rule

  1. Go to Project Settings

  2. Select Automation

  3. Select either an existing rule or click Add Rule

  4. Under Then do this…

  5. Select Add a ProForma form

  6. Choose the required form

  7. Select whether to Allow duplicate copies of the same form to be added to the request

  8. Select whether to set the form to External, which will make it accessible via the JSD portal

  9. Click Save
