Assets - Confluence Macro
Assets - Confluence Macro requires both Jira (Core, Software or Service Management) and Assets (version 4.4 and above) to function. You also need to have configured an app link between Confluence and Jira.
Before you begin
You must have the Confluence Administrators permission before you can carry out the instructions on this page.
Installing Assets - Confluence Macro
To install Assets - Confluence Macro:
- Log in as a user with the Confluence Administrators permission.
- Go to Settings, select Manage Apps.
- Go to Find new apps and search for Assets - Confluence Macro. The appropriate app version appears in the search results.
- Select Free trial to begin a new trial or Buy now to purchase a license. You're prompted to log into MyAtlassian. Assets - Confluence macro begins to download.
- Enter your information and select Generate license when redirected to MyAtlassian.
- Select Apply license.
If you're using an older version of Universal Plugin Manager (UPM), you can copy and paste the license into your Jira instance.
Updating Assets - Confluence Macro
Follow the same steps as above for installing Assets - Confluence Macro, since the old add-on version is removed from the file system.
Disabling Assets - Confluence Macro
To disable your Assets - Confluence Macro:
- Log in as a user with the Confluence Administrators permission.
- Go to Settings, then select Manage Apps.
- Expand Asset Integration - Confluence.
- Select Disable.

Uninstalling Assets - Confluence Macro
To uninstall Assets - Confluence Macro:
- Log in as a user with the Confluence Administrators permission.
- Go to Settings, then select Manage Apps.
- In the User-installed Apps, expand Asset Integration - Confluence.
- Select Uninstall.
