Assets - Confluence Macro
Before you begin
Assets - Confluence Macro requires both Jira (Core, Software or Service Management) and Assets (version 4.4 and above) to function. You also need to have configured an application link between Confluence and Jira.
You must have the Confluence Administrators permission before you can carry out the instructions on this page.
Installing Assets - Confluence Macro
To install Assets - Confluence Macro, take the following steps:
- Log in as a user with the Confluence Administrators permission.
- Click the configure drop-down and choose Add-ons.
- Click Find new add-ons from the left-hand side of the page and locate Assets - Confluence Macro via search. The appropriate add-on version appears in the search results.
- Click Free trial to begin a new trial or Buy now to purchase a license. You're prompted to log into MyAtlassian. Assets - Confluence macro begins to download.
- Enter your information and click Generate license when redirected to MyAtlassian.
- Click Apply license.
If you're using an older version of UPM, you can copy and paste the license into your Jira instance.
Updating Assets - Confluence Macro
Follow the same steps as above for installing Assets - Confluence Macro, since the old add-on version is removed from the file system.
Disabling Assets - Confluence Macro
- Log in as a user with the Confluence Administrators permission.
- Click the configure drop-down and choose Add-ons.
- Expand Asset Integration - Confluence.
- Click the Disable button.

Uninstalling Assets - Confluence Macro
- Log in as a user with the Confluence Administrators permission.
- Click the configure drop-down and choose Add-ons.
- Expand Asset Integration - Confluence in the User-installed Add-ons.
- Click the Uninstall button.
