Symptoms

The JIRA Importers plugin, which is bundled was bundled with Jira, allows you to import data from (among other things) Bugzilla and FogBugz. However, these import types are not available for Jira Cloud because they require the JIRA instance to make a direct connection to the database of those applications. Also on Jira Data Center only support via CSV or JSON files is supported (see Migrating from other issue trackers Below are some steps to work around this.

Resolution

Option: Import data using CSV

First export the data as CSV from the issue tracker, you are currently using. Then import it via Jira's CSV importer.
