Symptoms

At the present moment there is no project import available into Cloud. As a workaround customers can proceed as described below.

Workaround

If the target instance has nothing to be kept (clean new instance):

• You can prepare a full export of your JIRA Backup with attachments using Backup manager.
• Import the backup generated above to your new Cloud instance.
• Delete unwanted projects.
• Disable users which are not needed (since it will import all users from the destination instance) by removing them from all groups and application access.
