Confluence logs show XHTML exception reports.
Symptoms
- Confluence has been upgraded to Confluence 4.0
- You get these errors similar to these in the <confluence-home>/logs/atlassian-confluence.log file:

Cause
Macros and plugins may not be compatible with Confluence 4.0 causing the some components to become disabled. This will mean that the XHTML migration task may have issues converting the actual wiki markup of the component to XHTML.
In addition, the plugin may have been previously disabled or removed.
Workaround
Re-enable the Confluence 4.0 compatible plugin.
The pages will still render correctly, as internally, all unresolvable macros will be wrapped around the wiki-markup macro.
Resolution
The Confluence 4.0 compatible plugin will need to be identified for the macro and be installed or updated.
If no compatible plugin is found for the Confluence 4.0 please contact the plugin developer.
