Symptoms

When using a expand macro in confluence and putting a weblink inside the macro, an extra line is also added.

Cause

This was a behavior of the old wikimarkup editor in confluence 3.5.x or an older version.

Resolution

Upgrade confluence to 4.x or above to use the new XHTML editor which doesn't have this problem.
