Symptoms

You had enabled the HTML Include Macro and the HTML Macro, but it doesn't work as what is supposed to.

(for example: your <iframe> tag is not working)

Cause

Third-party plugin and replaced the original bundle plugin

Example: html plugin for confluence

Resolution

1. Uninstall the third-party plugin

2. Clear your plugin cache

   • Shutdown Confluence
   • Ensure the user running Confluence has full read/write privileges to the confluence-home directory.
   • Remove the following directories
     <confluence-home>/bundled-plugins
     <confluence-home>/plugins-cache
     <confluence-home>/plugins-osgi-cache
     <confluence-home>/plugins-tempStart
