Issue links disappear after they are added
Symptoms
Issue links are added without error but then disappear from issue view.
Diagnosis
- The symptom may not occur for all issues.
- It may appear that only certain users are affected.
- You have the ALM Works - Structure plugin installed.
- Or / and you have Elements Copy & Sync
Cause 1
This could be caused by certain configuration of Link synchronizers in Structure plugin. It may be an expected behaviour of the synchronizer, and could be as a result of faulty configuration.
Cause 2
This could also be caused by certain configuration of Elements Copy & Sync at the Data Panels configuration.
Note that both plugins are a third party Add-on. It is neither developed nor supported by Atlassian. If you're experiencing the described issue or want to learn more about the plugin, you may need to contact the plugin vendor, via their own Support Channels.
Resolution for cause 1
Disable synchronizers in Structure one after another and see which one causes the behaviour.
Resolution for cause 2
Uncheck the box to hide panels for Remote Linked Issues
