Gadgets removed from Confluence 9.0 onwards
Support for gadgets ended in Confluence 7.0, and we’ve now completed their removal in Confluence 9.0 to reduce technical debt.
As a result, pages that were using gadgets show a warning message instead.
We are bringing gadgets back to re-enable integration between Confluence and Jira. This functionality will be available in a marketplace app soon.
Confluence gadgets' replacement
You can replace selected Confluence gadgets with the following macros:
Gadget | Macro |

To replace a gadget, manually update each page with the appropriate macro.
Confluence macros display content within the same site. Macros don’t display content across sites.
Jira gadgets' replacement
We’re working on a solution to replace Jira gadgets' functionality. We’re hard at work making sure the app is up to our standards before we make it available for general use. We’ll share it with you as soon as it’s ready.
In the meantime, you can try the following macros in place of selected Jira gadgets:
