How to create a GDPR request for Atlassian sites

Personal data is collected by Atlassian when you interact with us to get support (support.atlassian.com), submit bugs (jira.atlassian.com), sign in to view documentation (confluence.atlassian.com), or make purchases (my.atlassian.com). You will need to create a support request with us to have this data removed according to GDPR article 12.

Make an authorized support request

To assist you with the removal of data, we must first verify that you are authorized to make this request. This is for your protection and to ensure that no one else can access or erase your personal data.

To demonstrate that you're authorized to make this request, log in to support.atlassian.com and submit a request with our team.

tip/resting Created with Sketch.

If you previously deleted your Atlassian account, simply re-create it using the "Sign up for an account" link at the bottom of the login page. This account will be removed as the last step of any erasure request.

Verify your email address

Once you create a support request, you'll be asked to verify that you have access to the email address associated with your data.

If you can't access this email account, you'll need to have an administrator from the organization that owns the email domain request this on your behalf. You can add them to your request using the Share link on your request if you know their email address. If you don't have this information, please contact the site administrator and ask them to make the request on your behalf.

Confirm that your data is removed from Atlassian sites and products

If you previously used Atlassian Cloud products, you can ask us to provide you with a list of Atlassian Cloud sites that contain your personal data. You can then follow the process on Atlassian Cloud: Right to erasure to have your personal data removed.
