Summary

In the details panel of integrated Story(s), the Jira Fix Version / Release Vehicles in JA are missing although the Jira project is properly mapped to Jira Align.

Diagnosis

When adding a Fix Version in a Jira Story, it will not reflect on the Jira Align Story after the sync.

Cause

Jira Fix Version will not be synchronized to Jira Align as Release Vehicles if:

• The Fix Version has no release date specified in Jira

• The release date does not fall within the start date and end date of an associated JA program increment

• The 'Sync Jira Align release vehicles with Jira fix versions’ is NOT = “Bidirectional Sync" under JA > Adm > Jira Settings > Jira Setup

Solution

1. Make sure the dates of the Jira Fix Version / JA Release Vehicle match

2. Check the PI dates in JA and if the Program in question is part of it

3. Check if the Release Vehicle did sync between Jira and Jira Align before assigning it to a work item
