Purpose

JIRA Administrator might not want to embed the issue collector form in a page but access the form directly instead. In some cases their website is running on HTTPS but JIRA instance is running on HTTP, embedding HTTP content in a HTTPS page will result in some users unable to see the embedded content due to browser blocking mixed content.

Solution

Go to Project Administration > Issue Collector > click on Issue Collector, get the Issue Collector ID from the end of the browser link. For example the collector ID below is "0a80f453"

http://localhost:8711/secure/ViewCollector!default.jspa?projectKey=SRS&collectorId=0a80f453

Replace <collectorid> in below URL with the collector ID above.

http://localhost:8711/rest/collectors/1.0/template/form/<collectorid>?os_authType=none#
