Summary

The default assignee in the project settings for a company-managed project cannot be modified, and there are no error messages associated with this issue.

Diagnosis

The organization details of the customer were reviewed internally, and the modification of the default assignee for the project was tested. An error message was identified in the HAR logs, as follows:

Cause

The issue occurs because the project is using an invalid avatar image, which is preventing the modification of the default assignee. This can be seen in the screenshot below, where the avatar does not meet the required format or specifications.

Solution

To resolve the issue, please follow these steps:

1. Click on the "Change Icon" option to select a new image for the avatar.
2. Either upload a new image or choose from the available default avatar options.
3. Save the changes.
4. After saving, set the default assignee to "Unassigned."

This should resolve the issue and allow the modification to proceed.
