An announcement banner is an efficient way for admins to quickly communicate important information to all Bamboo users.

The custom message gets pinned to the top of the Bamboo instance, providing an ideal space for sharing important announcements like software updates, planned maintenance, and other relevant information.


To create the announcement banner:

  1. From the Administration menu , select Manage apps.

  2. On the left sidebar, under Manage apps, select Announcement banner.

  3. Enter the title and message in the corresponding fields, and select Update.

    The announcement banner message can contain up to 1000 characters formatted with HTML tags.

Your announcement banner will appear immediately. To disable the banner, you should remove its title and message, and then select Update.
