Example Data Center configurations

This document includes a few examples of Data Center environments that may be used by Atlassian customers. Atlassian does not endorse, approve or recommend any specific vendors or configurations. These are provided just to showcase how Atlassian customers may deploy Data Center.

For more guidance on configuring an optimal environment, contact Advisory Services or have Premier Support schedule a health check.

NFS for shared storage

Some of the sample configurations here use NFS for shared storage. Atlassian applications do not support NFS for local storage.

This is because on local storage, Jira uses an index (Lucene) that is incompatible with NFS. Jira does not use this index for shared storage.
