How to hide the "History" tab in the issue panel

In order to hide the "History" tab in the issue panel you can perform the following steps.
- Login as an Administrator to your Jira instance
- Navigate to ⚙ > Manage Apps > Manage Apps
- In the central drop-down list (which default option is User-installed) choose the System option
- Click on the add-on Issue Tab Panels Plugin to expand.
- Click in modules link to expand (usually with the text 4 of 4 modules enabled)
- Disable the Change History Tab Panel module
