An issue source is a place where your Jira issues live. It can be a Jira board, a Jira filter or a Jira project, and it's used by Portfolio to pull the list of issues and their associated information. You configure the issue source when you create a new plan, but once your Portfolio plan is created, you can change the issue sources anytime by following these steps:

  1. Go to your plan > click  located next to the plan name > Configure > Issues sources.

  2. Click Edit Source.

  3. Connect to existing boards, filters or projects and click Next.

    Note:

Changing issue sources will affect your plan's scope, releases, and teams.

  4. Select the relevant releases and confirm what's in scope, then click Next.

  5. Confirm the issues that will be in the scope and select Done.
