New and improved audit logs

Good news Service Deskers!

JIRA Service Desk Cloud now logs global settings changes, as well as certain project-level changes.

JIRA admins can view these logs at %your_site_name%/auditing/view:

The logs include:

  • Changes that affect all service desk projects on your site, such as whether customers receive JIRA notifications, or whether agents can manage organizations. These include all changes you make in  > Application > JIRA Service Desk > Configuration
  • Changes to request types at the project level, such as when a new request type is added. These include all changes you make in Project settings  > Request types.
  • Changes to the project email channel, such as turning email support on or off. These include changes you make in Project settings  > Email requests.

We'll continue to add to the items that are logged, so keep watching this space for updates!
