Modifying the next plan build number
You can modify the next plan or plan branch build number.
A possible scenario is when a build administrator wants to change the Bamboo build number to maintain the sequence of build numbers while migrating from other continuous integration systems.
To change the next plan build number:
From the Bamboo header, select Build, and then All build plans.
Find the needed plan in the list and select the pencil icon to open the Plan configuration page.
On the upper left, select Actions, and then Modify plan build number.
In the Define next build number field, enter the needed number to be assigned to your next plan build.
When modifying the build number, note that it can only be increased. After setting a new value, reverting to the previous one is impossible.
Select Confirm.
Every modification affects only the single branch where the change was made.
