Creating a JIRA issue from a pull request comment
You can now create JIRA issues from pull request comments in Bitbucket Server.
The current process has you leaving Bitbucket Server, going to JIRA, creating your issue, getting your issue key, going back to Bitbucket and finally replying to the comment and adding the issue link. That's a lot of steps.
Don't worry, we have your back! With Bitbucket Server and Data Center 5.3 you can create as many JIRA issues directly from the pull request as your heart desires. The newly created issue will now be displayed under the comment, just like a task would.
This section will contain information about the Bitbucket Server 5.3 minor releases as they become available. These releases will be free to all customers with active Bitbucket Server software maintenance.
If you are upgrading from an earlier version of Bitbucket Server, check the Bitbucket Server upgrade guide.
