Better repository search

Searching for things online and in product is one of life's unavoidable evil nowadays. If you have ever suffered from search fatigue, we have some great news for you!

The team has spent time researching and reflecting on the user experience and inconsistent search methodologies, and have refined and improved searching across Bitbucket Server. As well as an improved look and feel, you will now see:

  • A changed way to find total search results. Before you could only see a paltry ten, you can now click 'show more repositories' and see many more results.
  • Actual filtering of projects and repositories on their respective list pages.

Fork visibility

We've also done some work to make it much easier to find your own personal forks, as well as any other forks of a repository.

You can now view all the forks of a repository from one page. From there, we've made it nice and easy to filter the forks to find what you are looking for.

This section will contain information about the Bitbucket Server 5.6 minor releases as they become available. These releases will be free to all customers with active Bitbucket Server software maintenance.
