404 Error When Trying To Perform Bulk Edits in Jira Cloud

Symptoms
When trying to bulk edit issues, you will run into a Not Found (404) error with no relevant logs displayed.
Confirm the groups assigned to Bulk Change global permission
A cause of this problem is the Bulk Change global permission was assigned to a group that has been deleted and can no longer be referenced. When you try to view the group you receive an error:
Group <users> does not exist
Perform the following steps below to re-associate a group to the Bulk Change global permission:
- Follow the Removing Global Permissions guide to remove the deleted group.
Follow the Granting Global Permissions guide to assign an existing group
