ProForma directly integrates with a number of other Atlassian Marketplace apps. ProForma can also consume data from your own APIs through its data lookup features. Finally ProForma is compatible with a number of other apps, which can access and manipulate form data. 

Data Lookups

With ProForma, you can build your own integration with any REST API, allowing you to populate form choice lists from third party systems.

ProForma API

ProForma offers APIs for:

  • Adding a form to an issue

  • Changing the internal/external setting of a form

  • Copying a form to another issue

  • Downloading a PDF of a form

  • Exporting form data

  • Reopening a form

  • Submitting a form

  • Unlocking a form

Configuration Manager for Jira (CMJ)

Configuration Manager for Jira, the enterprise standard solution for managing Jira configurations at scale and solving the most complex administration challenges. Integration with Configuration Manager makes it easy to migrate form designs from one Jira instance to another.


Groovy Script Examples

Marketplace apps such as Jira Misc Workflow Extensions, Powerscripts, Scriptrunner, or any tool that uses Groovy can be used to:

  • Add a form template to an issue

  • Calculate fields

  • Change the internal/external setting of a form

  • Create issues based on form field values

  • Create subtasks based on form field values

  • Copy forms from one issue to another

  • Dump data from multiple ProForma fields into one Jira field

  • Notify a user of a form awaiting their approval

  • Reopen a form

  • Unlock a form
