By integrating Jira applications with Bamboo, you can seamlessly view and monitor the status of your Bamboo builds and deployments without leaving your Jira application projects.

To connect a Bamboo server instance with a Jira Cloud application you need to create an application link between them.

Development panel in Jira issues

The development panel is shown in the View Issue screen in

Jira applications. For example, if Jira Software is integrated with Bamboo, you can view the status of your builds and deployments right inside the corresponding issues.

See Viewing the development information for an issue for more information.

Release Hub

The Release Hub in Jira Software shows the progress of a version, so you can determine which issues are likely to ship at a glance. The commits, builds, and deployments related to each issue are shown, helping you to spot potential development issues that could cause problems for a release.

When Jira Software is integrated with Bamboo, you trigger release builds when you release versions from the Release Hub.

See Running a Bamboo build when releasing a version for more information.
